When a customer uses address autocomplete during WooCommerce checkout, the plugin sends the following information to GeoScale: * Address search text entered by the customer * Selected checkout country * Customer’s browser language * GeoScale address identifier when a suggestion is selected The store’s GeoScale API key is sent with API requests for authentication. The API key is transmitted server-to-server and is not exposed to the customer’s browser. This information is sent only when address autocomplete is used and is necessary to provide address suggestions and retrieve selected addresses. To get an API key: 1. [Sign up for GeoScale](https://dash.geoscale.io/auth/sign-up) if you haven’t already. 2. Go to [Billing](https://dash.geoscale.io/billing) and choose **Add subscription**. 3. Go to [API keys](https://dash.geoscale.io/api-keys) and click **Create API key**. To install and configure the plugin: 1. In WordPress, go to **Plugins > Add Plugin**. 2. Search for **Address Autocomplete by GeoScale**. 3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**. 4. Go to **WooCommerce > Settings > General**. 5. Find **Address autocomplete** and enable **Predictive address search**. 6. Enter your API key in the **GeoScale API key** field directly below it. 7. Save your changes.
