Fortunately I had tested it on two different sites without Yoast installed so I knew it was capable of doing what it promises and wasn’t just a buggy piece of garbage. After wasting enormous amounts of time trying to figure out what broke the forum, I finally thought of deactivating Yoast and voila, it worked like a charm. (I hope it will work with RankMath, fingers crossed).If not for this issue, I would give it 5 stars (based on my limited experience with it so far). Additionally, newline characters cannot be used when creating a topic or reply, which means everything appears on a single line. I reported these things weeks ago on their support forum and got no response. These are essential features. But in my case (a website where the forum is supposed to be a side-asset to my whole website) the simple thing was just perfect. I wasted a lot of time to understand other complicated forum plugins which would have overwhelmed the user as it should just be a way to communicate user’s ideas regarding the website’s goal.
