  1. Upload the ‘sugar-calendar-lite’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/” directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to the new Events post type and create some events
  4. Display the calendar on any page with [sc_events_calendar]
  5. View the archive of events at


Can I have recurring events?

The non-lite version has recurring options for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly events.

Can I display Google Maps with my Events?

Yes, there is a free add-on plugin for showing maps. This add-on works with both lite and full versions of Sugar Calendar.

Can I have event registration forms?

We have built a free add-on that provides integration with the very popular Gravity Forms plugin.

Huge fan! Love the simple nature of this plugin. Perfect for a site that just needs a basic calendar with none of the bloat that comes along with The Events Calendar.

Very usefull. I paid for pro version and it does excactly that it says. !!!! I translated (the pro version) in greek language

I love the simplicity of this plug-in. Some events plug-ins have way too many options and it can get overwhelming to my content administrators. The premium version is not that expense either, but in most cases... the free will will be all you need.
