WooCommerce Spedizioni in base al peso

Descrizione

Weight Based Shipping è un semplice e flessibile plugin per WooCommerce che permette di calcolare il costo delle spedizioni in base al peso degli oggetti nel carrello (ma non solo). Il plugin permette di aggiungere più regole basate su diverse condizioni.

Caratteristiche

  • Order weight, subtotal and destination
Create as many shipping rules as you need for different order destinations, weight and subtotal ranges.

  • Flexible Price Calculation
Each rule can be configured to expose a constant price (like Flat Rate) or a progressive price based on cart weight, or both.

  • Conditional Free Shipping
In some cases you want to ship for free depending on subtotal, total weight or some other condition. That can be achieved in a moment with the plugin.

  • Shipping Classes Support (available in the Plus version)
For each shipping class you have you can override the way shipping price is calculated for it.

Hi, in and on itself, this plugin does what it promises. However, it doesn't mix well with other shipping plugins, because it lacks any kind of setting on what to do when you have more than one shipping method in any one zone. Lets say you have to methods: One is you weight based shipping, the other is a normal fixed fee setting. Normally, in woocommerce you'd have a drop down there where you can choose if for mixed carts it should use this or that class or method. Not with this plugin, however. So for a very limited production setting, it works. Everything else should be done with a real table rate plugin, however. And note, that this plugin also changes you tax calculation for shipping costs, and this persists even after deactivating this plugin. Solution: deactivated all plugins and reactivate everything except this one.

[Edit again] The problem that lower the note me is no translation are available (I mean this plugin is not translatable at all, otherwise I would have proposed to do it). * Also, it can be unclear to know if it's better to configure shipping zone from main woocommerce system or in the rules of this plugin (I assume it's equivalent). * Also, maybe a little lack of documentation : I don't know what happens if multiple rules match. I assume it would be the «better offer for the customer», but maybe the rules order is important and it's the first (or the last) which match. I also experimented a bug (or at least a conflict) with another plugin, but I replaced it by another one. With all this, I would easy give four or five star

2.2.1

Allow zero weight shipping. Thus only Handling Fee is added to the final price.

Previously, weight based shipping option has not been shown to user if total weight of their cart is zero. Since version 2.2.1 this is changed so shipping option is available to user with price set to Handling Fee. If it does not suite your needs well you can return previous behavior by setting Min Weight to something a bit greater zero, e.g. 0.001, so that zero-weight orders will not match constraints and the shipping option will not be shown.
