This plugin allows you to either insert an image advertisement that links to the URL of your choice or insert Ad code from your Ad provider such as AdSense or OpenX.

Features

Simple Ad Spot is an extremely lightweight plugin that allows you to do the following:

Place an image ad with a destination url
Insert your ad code script
Use multiple widgets to place ads throughout your website

This is great plugin for sites that use ad scripts or places image ads. Most importantly, it helps site owners avoid having to write their own HTML or code simply to place an advertisement on their site.

Simple Ad Spot Widget

Installazione

You can install the Simple Ad Spot from your WordPress Dashboard or manually via FTP.

From WordPress Dashboard

Similar to all other plugins, follow these instructions:

Navigate to ‘Plugins -> Add New’ from your WordPress dashboard.
Search for Simple Ad Spot and install it.
Activate the plugin from Plugins menu.
Navigate to Appearance > Widgets > and simply drag a Simple Ad Spot to your desired widget zone. Configure the widget’s options.

Manual Installation

Download the plugin
Unzip the file
Upload the wpsite-simple-ad-spot folder to your /wp-content/plugins directory (do not rename the folder)
Activate the plugin from Plugins menu.
Navigate to Appearance > Widgets > and simply drag a Simple Ad Spot to your desired widget zone. Configure the widget’s options.
