Il plugin YITH WooCommerce Featured Video è un’estensione per WooCommerce che permette ai tuoi utenti di vedere un video YouTube o Vimeo al posto dell’immagine in evidenza della pagina dettaglio prodotto.
Aggiungi l’URL del video YouTube o Vimeo nel campo specifico della pagina di configurazione del prodotto e i tuoi clienti avranno il piacere di guardare qualcosa di dinamico e personalizzato.

Installazione

Una volta installato il plugin devi solo attivarlo.

Configurazione

YITH WooCommerce Featured Video aggiungerà un nuovo sottomenu denominato “Featured Video” al menu “YITH Plugins”. Da qui puoi configurare tutte le impostazioni del plugin.
Potrai aggiungere il tuo video nei prodotti seguendo questi passaggi:

  1. Apri la pagina di configurazione del prodotto in cui vuoi impostare il video in evidenza;
  2. Imposta l’URL del video nel campo “URL video in evidenza” nella casella “Dati prodotto”.

Installazione

  1. Decomprimi il file zip scaricato.
  2. Carica la cartella del plugin nella directory wp-content/plugins/ del tuo sito WordPress.
  3. Attiva YITH WooCommerce Featured Video dalla pagina Plugin

Cosa devo aggiungere nella configurazione del prodotto?

Devi semplicemente impostare l’URL del video, ad esempio “http://vimeo.com/67175696” o “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDTWsuyFYRM”

Translation issue with the version 1.1.2

Di recente YITH WooCommerce Featured Video è stato selezionato per essere incluso nel programma di traduzioni “translate.wordpress.org”. Per importare correttamente le stringhe del plugin nel nuovo sistema abbiamo dovuto cambiare il text domain da ‘yit’ a ‘yith-woocommerce-featured-video’. Una volta importato il plugin nel sistema translate.wordpress.org, le traduzioni delle altre lingue verranno scaricate direttamente da WordPress senza l’utilizzo di file .po e .mo. Inoltre gli utenti potranno partecipare in modo più diretto alle traduzioni dei plugin, suggerendo testi nelle loro lingue nella scheda dedicata su translate.wordpress.org. Durante questa fase di transizione i file .po e .mo verranno usati come sempre ma per essere riconosciuti da WordPress dovranno avere una nuova nomenclatura ed essere rinominati in: yith-woocommerce-featured-video-.po yith-woocommerce-featured-video-.mo. Ad esempio, se i file della tua lingua si chiamavano yit-en_GB.po e yit-en_GB.mo, dovrai solo rinominarli rispettivamente come yith-woocommerce-featured-video-en_GB.po e yith-woocommerce-featured-video-en_GB.mo.

Il plugin è compatibile con tutti i temi WordPress?

La compatibilità con tutti i temi non è possibile perché sono troppi, ma generalmente se i temi sono sviluppati secondo le linee guida WordPress e WooCommerce i plugin YITH sono compatibili.
Possiamo comunque garantire la compatibilità con i temi sviluppati da YITH perché costantemente aggiornati e testati con i nostri plugin. A volte, soprattutto quando vengono rilasciate le nuove versioni, potrebbe volerci un po’ di tempo per aggiornarli tutti ma puoi stare certo che saranno testati e funzionanti in pochi giorni.

Come posso ricevere supporto se il mio plugin WooCommerce non funziona?

Se hai problemi con i nostri plugin o qualcosa non sta funzionando come dovrebbe, prima di tutto segui questi passaggi preliminari:

  • Prova il plugin con un tema predefinito WordPress per assicurarti che l’errore non sia causato dal tema che stai attualmente usando.
  • Disattiva tutti i plugin che stai utilizzando e controlla se il problema è ancora presente.
  • Assicurati che le versioni del tuo plugin, del tuo tema e di WordPress e WooCommerce (se obbligatorio) siano aggiornate e che il problema che stai riscontrando non sia già stato risolto in un aggiornamento recente del plugin.

Se nessuna delle azioni precedentemente elencate ti aiuta a risolvere il problema, invia un ticket nel forum e descrivi accuratamente il problema specificando le versioni WordPress e WooCommerce che stai usando e qualsiasi altra informazione che potrebbe aiutarci a risolverlo il più rapidamente possibile.
