RankHive – AI SEO Agent: Search Console Fixes You Approve

Descrizione

RankHive reads your Google Search Console data and finds the work: pages ranking 5th to 20th, titles people see but don’t click, and pages losing clicks. It drafts each fix, such as a new title or meta description, internal links, schema, or image alt text. You approve, edit or discard each fix in the RankHive app. This plugin then writes the approved change to WordPress and logs the old value, so you can revert it from the Change Log.

Nothing on your site changes until you approve it. RankHive audits the site every week, and a fix that comes from your search data shows the Search Console numbers behind it.

Approved titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs are written into Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO (AIOSEO) or SEOPress, whichever one is active, and that plugin outputs them as usual. You need one of those four active for title, description and canonical changes to show on your pages. Content, internal link, schema, image alt text, redirect and robots.txt changes work without one.

RankHive edits posts and pages. It does not edit WooCommerce product pages yet.

The plugin is free. RankHive is a paid service: $49.99 a month or $499.99 a year for one WordPress site. There is no free trial. See pricing or read the FAQ.

This is an early access release. A RankHive account is required for AI analysis, approvals, reporting, scheduling, and WordPress writes.

The plugin handles:

  • secure site connection and credential storage
  • authenticated REST bridge for reads and guarded writes
  • writing approved titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs into your SEO plugin’s fields
  • plugin-owned schema rendering
  • plugin-owned redirects and optional robots management
  • outbound webhook delivery for site events
  • operational dashboard, activity feed, and connection diagnostics

RankHive handles:

  • AI analysis and recommendations
  • approvals and change history
  • reporting, billing, scheduling, and user management
  • Google Search Console connection (read-only)

The plugin transmits site content and metadata to RankHive only after an administrator connects the site.

Privacy

RankHive – AI SEO Agent does not transmit site data until the administrator connects the plugin to RankHive. Once connected, the plugin may send site URLs, site metadata, active theme and plugin metadata, WordPress/PHP/plugin versions, post and page titles, slugs, URLs, excerpts, content, content hashes, SEO metadata, schema, taxonomies, featured image and media metadata, author display name and ID, headings, image references, internal links, plugin-managed redirects, robots data, webhook event metadata, diagnostics, and approved write results.

Connected reads can include published, draft, pending, private, and other requested post statuses when the RankHive workflow asks for them. RankHive uses this data only to provide the customer’s SEO service. RankHive stores data while the user is a customer, and users can delete site data from the RankHive dashboard.

The plugin stores connection settings, operational logs, and optional render toggles locally in the WordPress database.

Read the RankHive Privacy Policy.

FAQ

What does RankHive cost?

The plugin is free. RankHive is a paid service: $49.99 a month or $499.99 a year for one WordPress site. Every feature is included, and each plan covers one site. See pricing.

Is there a free trial?

No. Before you pay, setup connects your site and shows the first places RankHive found to look in your own Search Console data. Your first full audit starts when you subscribe.

Does this plugin work without a RankHive account?

No. The plugin requires a connected RankHive account for the main product features. Before connection, the plugin only provides the local connection screens needed to start the setup flow.

Which SEO plugins does it work with?

Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO (AIOSEO, free and Pro) and SEOPress. Approved titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs are written into the fields of whichever one is active, and that plugin outputs them as usual. With no SEO plugin, or a different one, those three changes are saved but don’t show on your pages. Content, internal link, schema, image alt text, redirect and robots.txt changes don’t depend on an SEO plugin.

Does it edit WooCommerce products?

Not yet. RankHive reads and edits posts and pages, such as a store’s blog posts and buying guides. It does not audit or edit WooCommerce product or category pages.

What access does RankHive need in Google?

Read-only access to Google Search Console, plus the email address of the Google account you connect. RankHive uses your search data to decide which fixes are worth making, and shows it next to the fixes it drives. It can’t change anything in your Search Console account.

What data is sent to RankHive?

RankHive may receive connection metadata, site metadata, content, SEO metadata, media metadata, author display names and IDs, redirects, robots data, webhook event metadata, diagnostics, and approved write results needed to provide the connected SEO service.

Can RankHive change my WordPress site?

Yes, but only after you approve the proposed change in RankHive. Approved changes can update SEO titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, content, internal links, schema, image alt text, post status, redirects, and robots.txt, and can create draft posts. The plugin cannot delete posts and does not touch your themes, plugins, or users.

Can I undo a change?

Yes, for titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, content and internal link edits, schema, image alt text, post status, redirects, and robots.txt. Click Revert in RankHive’s Change Log. A redirect RankHive created is switched off, because the plugin doesn’t delete redirects. If a paragraph, link, redirect, or robots.txt was edited after RankHive’s change, the revert stops and tells you instead of overwriting it. New article drafts can’t be reverted from the Change Log.

What happens if I cancel?

Changes RankHive already made stay on your site. You can cancel anytime from the billing settings in RankHive, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refunded, as the refund policy explains. Titles, descriptions, and content edits are saved in WordPress and your SEO plugin like any other edit. Schema, redirects, and robots.txt rules are served by this plugin, so they keep working while it is active. Deleting the plugin removes its redirects and settings, and its schema output stops.

Does the plugin render schema or robots output?

Yes. JSON-LD schema can be rendered from plugin-owned metadata, and robots output can be enabled from the settings screen when the site needs plugin-owned robots handling. If your SEO plugin already outputs structured data, you can turn off this plugin’s schema output in its Advanced settings to avoid duplicate markup.

Changelog

0.1.5

  • All in One SEO (free and Pro): approved titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs are now saved in AIOSEO’s own post settings, so AIOSEO shows them on your pages. Earlier versions saved them where AIOSEO does not read them.
  • If AIOSEO is active but its data can’t be loaded, title, description and canonical changes are refused instead of saved where they won’t show. The plugin screen says where these changes are saved.
  • The robots.txt setting now says what it does: it adds your lines to the end of the robots.txt WordPress serves, and has no effect if your site has a physical robots.txt file.

0.1.4

  • Fix SEO meta writes clearing fields they were not changing: approving a title change no longer deletes the meta description and canonical (and vice versa), including on reverts. Only the fields a request carries are written, and unchanged values are no longer recorded as changes.
  • Keep backslashes in written content, alt text, redirects and robots.txt (e.g. code samples). Strings are stored as sent unless the request marks them as slashed.
  • A refused write (conflict, validation error) is no longer replayed for its idempotency key, so a retry after re-reading the post goes through.
  • Updating a redirect without an is_regex value keeps the rule’s current regex setting.

0.1.3

  • Fix outbound webhook delivery returning 401: the webhook signer now sends the API key id instead of the site id in the X-SEOAgent-Key-Id header, matching the signature used for all other authenticated requests.

0.1.2

  • Schedule posts natively in WordPress with optional publish_at (future status + post dates).
  • Fix status-only updates so publish/draft changes apply when publish_at is omitted.
  • Reset post dates when leaving a scheduled (future) post so drafts do not keep a future stamp.
  • Fall back to the first administrator as post author for HMAC API writes with no logged-in user.

0.1.1

  • Added authentication to the posts and robots read REST endpoints.
  • Added connection-callback state validation to prevent CSRF-style state changes on the admin screen.
  • Prefixed the activation transient to avoid naming collisions.
  • Updated the Author and Plugin URI to the RankHive site.

0.1.0

  • Initial early access release.
