FormFlow Ext for Contact Form 7 and GoHighLevel – Send Form Leads to GHL

Descrizione

🌐 Official Website | πŸ“– Documentation | πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Support

FormFlow Ext connects Contact Form 7 to GoHighLevel. Every CF7 submission becomes a contact in the right GoHighLevel (GHL) sub-account, tagged and ready to trigger your automations. No Zapier subscription, no Make scenario, no webhook code between your form and your CRM.

Set it up in the Contact Form 7 editor itself: FormFlow adds a GoHighLevel tab to every form, where you pick the GHL location, map fields and add tags.

Why connect Contact Form 7 to GoHighLevel?

Contact Form 7 only sends an email. It doesn’t store submissions, route leads or trigger any automation, so a lead that lands in spam or a busy inbox is easy to lose.

GoHighLevel is built around contacts, pipelines and workflows, but it needs a reliable way to receive your website’s form data. FormFlow is that link: every CF7 submission creates or updates a GoHighLevel contact the moment it’s sent, with tags that can fire an SMS or email follow-up within seconds.

Why FormFlow instead of Zapier or webhooks?

Most Contact Form 7 GoHighLevel setups rely on Zapier, Make, webhooks or custom PHP snippets that break when a field changes. FormFlow replaces them with a purpose-built CF7 GHL integration:

  • No automation subscription. No Zapier task limits or monthly Make fees for this integration.
  • Official OAuth2 connection. Authorize GoHighLevel the way GHL recommends for secure API access. No API keys to copy around.
  • Visual setup. Configure each form in the CF7 editor’s GoHighLevel tab. No webhook URLs, no code.
  • Fewer things to break. One plugin to maintain instead of a chain of zaps, scenarios or snippets.
  • Easy to troubleshoot. A built-in log viewer shows every contact creation, update and error.

Free features

β˜‘οΈ Contact Form 7 to GoHighLevel contacts – every CF7 submission creates a new GHL contact, or updates the existing one in that location.
β˜‘οΈ GoHighLevel tab in the CF7 editor – configure the GHL connection per form, right next to your form’s mail and message settings.
β˜‘οΈ Field mapping for name, email and phone – match CF7 mail-tags such as your-name, your-email and your-phone to GoHighLevel contact fields.
β˜‘οΈ Multiple GHL sub-accounts – authorize as many GoHighLevel sub-accounts as you need from one WordPress site, and choose which location each CF7 form sends to.
β˜‘οΈ Global and form-specific tags – tag every CF7 lead, or set tags per form, to trigger the right GoHighLevel workflow.
β˜‘οΈ Log viewer – review every Contact Form 7 to GoHighLevel sync, with sensitive data redacted, for fast troubleshooting.
β˜‘οΈ Lightweight – runs on the standard CF7 submission hook without slowing down your forms or pages.

FormFlow GHL Pro: the complete Contact Form 7 GoHighLevel integration

The free plugin syncs name, email and phone. FormFlow for GHL Pro sends every CF7 answer to GoHighLevel and decides what happens next:

β˜‘οΈ Custom field mapping – map any Contact Form 7 field to standard GoHighLevel fields (company, address, city, website) or to your own GHL custom fields.
β˜‘οΈ Pipelines and opportunities – turn a CF7 submission into a GoHighLevel opportunity in the pipeline and stage you choose.
β˜‘οΈ Conditional routing – route CF7 leads by their answers, using rules such as equals, contains and greater than. For example, send “Request a quote” to sales and “General question” to support.
β˜‘οΈ Multiple feeds per form – send one Contact Form 7 submission to several GoHighLevel locations, each with its own mapping and rules.
β˜‘οΈ Feed-specific tags – tag leads by the rule that fired, to trigger more targeted GHL automations.
β˜‘οΈ Multiple primary GHL accounts – keep each agency client’s CF7 leads in that client’s own GoHighLevel account.

Every plan includes all Pro features. Choose by how many websites you need: 2, 4 or unlimited. See plans and pricing.

Who it’s for

β˜‘οΈ Agencies routing leads from many client websites into each client’s GHL sub-account
β˜‘οΈ Freelancers and developers building WordPress sites for clients who sell through GoHighLevel
β˜‘οΈ Local businesses whose CF7 quote, contact and booking forms should feed their CRM, not an inbox
β˜‘οΈ Marketers running paid traffic to CF7 landing pages who need every lead tagged and in the right location

Example: an agency connects 15 client sites to 15 GHL sub-accounts, each form tagged “Website Lead” so the client’s GoHighLevel workflow texts every new lead within a minute.

Using Gravity Forms, Elementor, WPForms, Fluent Forms or Ninja Forms as well? Try FormFlow for GoHighLevel, which supports all six form builders.

Security and privacy

FormFlow connects to GoHighLevel only through OAuth2. No API keys are hardcoded and no credentials are stored in plain text on your site. Only the data needed to create or update a contact is sent: name, email, phone, tags and the target location. Log files are protected and sensitive values are redacted. See External services below for full details.

External services

This plugin connects to external services to authenticate with GoHighLevel and sync Contact Form 7 leads. No data is sent in the background or without one of the actions below.

1. NexPlugs API (api.nexplugs.com)

Used to authenticate with GoHighLevel via OAuth2 and to create or update the contact in your GoHighLevel sub-account.

  • On sub-account authorization: website URL / domain and the GoHighLevel authorization data needed to complete the OAuth2 connection
  • On a Contact Form 7 submission: contact name, email, phone, tags and the selected GoHighLevel location ID

  • Terms of Service: https://www.nexplugs.com/terms-of-services/

  • Privacy Policy: https://www.nexplugs.com/privacy-policy/

2. GoHighLevel API

Contact data from each CF7 submission is sent to the GoHighLevel API through the NexPlugs API to create or update the contact in the selected location. This happens only when a visitor submits a Contact Form 7 form.

FAQ

How do I connect Contact Form 7 to GoHighLevel?

Install FormFlow Ext, authorize your GoHighLevel sub-account with OAuth2, then open your CF7 form, click the GoHighLevel tab, choose a location, map your fields and save. Every new submission creates or updates a contact in GHL.

Do I need Zapier or Make to send CF7 leads to GoHighLevel?

No. FormFlow connects Contact Form 7 to GoHighLevel without Zapier, Make or webhooks.

Does Contact Form 7 save submissions on its own?

No. CF7 emails submissions but doesn’t store them. FormFlow sends each one to GoHighLevel, so the lead lives in your CRM even if the email is missed.

Can different CF7 forms send leads to different GoHighLevel sub-accounts?

Yes. Each Contact Form 7 form has its own location, field mapping and tags, so one site can route leads to several GHL sub-accounts.

Does FormFlow create new contacts or update existing ones?

Both. If a matching contact already exists in the selected GHL location, FormFlow updates it; otherwise it creates a new one.

Which Contact Form 7 fields can I map to GoHighLevel?

The free version maps name, email and phone. FormFlow for GHL Pro maps any CF7 field to standard or custom GoHighLevel fields.

Can CF7 submissions create opportunities in a GoHighLevel pipeline?

Yes, with FormFlow for GHL Pro. Each feed can create an opportunity in the pipeline and stage you choose.

Will tags trigger my GoHighLevel workflows?

Yes. Tags applied by FormFlow work like tags added manually in GoHighLevel, so they can trigger any workflow set to fire on that tag.

How does FormFlow authenticate with GoHighLevel?

Through GoHighLevel’s official OAuth2 flow, the method GHL recommends for third-party integrations.

Do I need coding skills?

No. Setup happens in your WordPress dashboard and the CF7 editor’s GoHighLevel tab. No code or webhook URLs.

What happens if a sync fails?

The attempt and its result are recorded in the log viewer, so you can find and fix the issue without losing track of the submission.

Does it slow down my Contact Form 7 forms?

No. The sync runs as part of the normal CF7 submission without noticeable delay.

Is FormFlow an official GoHighLevel product?

No. FormFlow is developed by NexPlugs and connects through GoHighLevel’s public OAuth2 API. It isn’t published or maintained by GoHighLevel.

How do I get support?
