NovaMX Connect links a WordPress site to My NovaMX, European hosting by NovaMX B.V. (Netherlands).
This plugin is a free interface to the NovaMX hosting service. Local site scan and migration request work without a paid plan. Staging sync, CDN purge, backups, and related hosting actions call the NovaMX API and require an active My NovaMX hosting package that includes those features. Before you host on NovaMX
- Run a local site scan (WordPress/PHP version, HTTPS, approximate size). Nothing is sent until you choose to.
- Send an EU migration request from wp-admin. NovaMX does not overwrite your live site automatically.
After you pair with a Connect token
- Hosting status and deep links into My NovaMX
- Website staging sync (when included in your package)
- CDN purge
- Backups: create and restore with confirmation
- Security headers presets
- EU-friendly defaults restore
The plugin UI is available in English and Dutch.

Installazione
- Install from Plugins Add New, or upload the ZIP.
- Activate NovaMX Connect.
- Open NovaMX in the admin menu.
- Optional: scan the site and send a migration request.
- When you host on NovaMX, paste the Connect token from My NovaMX Website WordPress (Settings).
On NovaMX hosting, Connect is installed automatically with the site.

Does the scan send data to NovaMX?

No. The scan stays on your server until you submit a migration request.

Will migration overwrite my live site?

No. A migration request is a follow-up request. NovaMX does not automatically overwrite production.

Where do I get a Connect token?

In My NovaMX open Website WordPress and use the Connect token for that domain. On NovaMX hosting the token is set at install.

Is this a paid plugin or trialware?

No. The plugin code on WordPress.org is free under GPLv2 or later. Paid limits apply only to the NovaMX hosting service behind the API (your package), not as artificial locks inside this plugin.

Does this force plugin auto-updates?

The NovaMX-hosted build can keep Connect up to date automatically for paired hosting customers. The wordpress.org build uses normal WordPress update settings.
