Akismet controlla i commenti e gli invii che arrivano attraverso il modulo di contatto e li confronta con il suo database globale dello spam, per proteggere te e il tuo sito dai contenuti malevoli. Puoi revisionare i commenti spam catturati dalla voce “Commenti” del menu della Bacheca del tuo blog/sito.
Funzionalità principali di Akismet:

PS: una volta attivato il plugin ti verrà richiesto di ottenere una chiave API da Akismet.com da utilizzare. Le chiavi sono gratuite per i blog personali; sono disponibili sottoscrizioni a pagamento per siti web di tipo business e commerciali.
