One free plugin gives you a stepwise form, a floating action bar, one-click demo sites, and — for the first time — an AI agent that can manage your directory for you. Everything else clips on as an addon.

🤖 GeoBuddy AI — Run Your Directory With AI

This is the headline feature. GeoBuddy ships an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server built into WordPress’s Abilities API, so AI assistants can talk to your GeoDirectory site directly — no custom code, no Zapier, no manual admin work.

Free, built into GeoBuddy core — read-only:

How it connects: AI Client (Claude / ChatGPT / etc.) talks to the MCP Server in GeoBuddy core, which routes to the free Read tools and, if installed, the GeoBuddy AI addon’s Write tools — both acting on your GeoDirectory site.

Core Features (Free)

📋 Multistep Form — Breaks the GeoDirectory “Add Listing” form into clean steps with a progress indicator, works out of the box. Custom labels & progress bar styles are in the Multistep Form addon.

🎯 Floating Action Bar — Sticky bottom bar on listing detail pages with Call, WhatsApp, Share & Favorite (4 items, free). Unlimited items & full builder controls are in the Floating Action Bar addon.

🗂️ Site Templates — One-click importer for full GeoDirectory demo sites: theme, plugins, pages, categories, listings & menus in one guided flow. Additive (safe) or Full Reset (replaces everything) modes. Free templates are open to everyone; paid templates need a GeoBuddy Bundle license.

🧩 Custom Fields — Adds a few extra listing fields: social links (YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, TikTok) and a 360° virtual tour embed.
