HTR Order Alerts for WooCommerce sends automated order notifications to your customers and alerts to you (the store owner) through chat APIs — so updates land in the app your customers actually read.
The plugin integrates with UltraMsg (free trial available) and provides a flexible template-driven messaging system for every WooCommerce order status change (new, processing, completed, cancelled, refunded, failed, COD confirmation). Each message supports dynamic variables so you can customize the voice and content.

External services
This plugin connects to a third-party chat/messaging API provider to deliver notifications. You choose whether to configure this provider; nothing is sent until you enter credentials and enable notifications.
UltraMsg (optional)
UltraMsg is a messaging API service. The plugin uses it to deliver notifications only when you have configured your UltraMsg Instance ID and token in the plugin settings and enabled order notifications.
- What is sent: Recipient phone number, message text, and your UltraMsg Instance ID and token.
- When: Only when an order status change you have enabled triggers a notification. No automatic data transmission on activation.

Installazione
Automatic installation
- Log in to your WordPress admin.
- Go to Plugins > Add New and search for “HTR Order Alerts for WooCommerce”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- Go to the HTR Order Alerts menu in the admin to configure the provider.
Manual installation
- Download the plugin zip.
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and select the zip.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
Configuration
- After activation, open the plugin’s Providers page.
- Enter your UltraMsg Instance ID and token from your UltraMsg dashboard.
- Tick “Use as default provider” and click Save.
- Open the Templates page and click Save on each template (even without editing) so the templates are registered.
- Open the Settings page and enable the order notification types you want to send.
- Place a test order with your phone number as the billing phone — you should receive a message within one minute.

Does the plugin send messages without my input?

No. The plugin only sends messages after you configure a provider, save at least one template, and enable the specific notification types you want. It never sends on activation.

Can I use my existing phone number?

Yes. The plugin sends messages through whatever number you connect in your UltraMsg account. You can also use a dedicated business number.

Does this plugin store my customers’ phone numbers?

The plugin reads phone numbers from WooCommerce order data (billing phone). It stores message delivery logs that include the recipient number so you can see what was sent and whether delivery succeeded. No data is sent to third parties except through the API provider you configure.

What happens if WooCommerce is not installed?

The plugin requires WooCommerce. If WooCommerce is not active, an admin notice appears and the plugin’s features will not run.
