Non riesco a fare un backup con Duplicator. Il processo arriva al 59.7% e poi si interrompe fornendomi i seguenti errori. Il plugin mi informa che il mio sito occupa 5GB mentre il DB 12MB.

Salve, ho create un sito su un dominio Aruba con MySQL, mi serviva crearne un duplicato su un altro dominio in mio possesso (dominiofaidate.com). Ho fatto un Backup del sito Aruba, e una volta installato correttamente wordpress sul ” nuovo” sito (dominiofaidate.com) ho fatto il restore del backup. L’installazione del backup del database rimane fissa allo 0%, aggiornando ricevo errori del database:

Scusami per l’incompletezza della mia risposta.
La migrazione l’ho fatta tramite FTP scaricando tutte le cartelle da remoto e poi inserendole nella cartella htdocs.
Ho modificato il file wp_config
Poi ho scaricato il DB e ricaricato sul DB di XAMMP

è probabile che si sia qualcosa da sistemare sul database.
Il valore che hai indicato è corretto, dice in sostanza che il tuo utente ha il ruolo di Amministratore. Poi ogni ruolo ha una serie di “capabilities”, cioè le azioni che può effettivamente compiere.
Per verificarle cerca nella tabella
wp_optionsla riga in cui il campooption_namecontiene il valorewp_user_rolese guarda il contenuto del campooption_value.In un WordPress nuovo appena installato dovresti vedere questo contenuto:

Ognuna di queste è indicata con il nome e un valore 1/0 che indica se è abilitata.
Partendo dall’inizio, troverai “administrator” seguito da tutte le capabilities ad esso assegnate. Prova a cercare quelle che contengono “_plugins”, ad esempio “install_plugins” e verifica che siano seguite da un 1.
Ad esempio:
s:15:”install_plugins”;b:0;
In questo caso il valore boolean (b) è 0, quindi questo amministratore non può installare nuovi plugin. Per risolvere basta inserire 1 al posto dello 0.
Prova a dare un’occhiata alla situazione di questa stringa sul database.
Tieni presente però che:
– queste modifiche sono rischiose, prima di fare qualsiasi cosa accertati di avere un backup
– il contenuto che trovi in quel campo potrebbe essere più articolato, poichè dipende dai plugin installati e dai valori che questi potrebbero aver inserito.Spero sia stato utile.

Buonasera a tutti,
volendo spostare Wp dalla sottodirectory in cui era alla directory principale.
Ho seguito le indicazioni trovate su un sito e quindi ho:
– effettuato BackUp
– Eliminato tutti i file e le cartelle WordPress presenti nella cartella principale compreso il database (senza eliminare la sottocartella dove stavo sviluppando il nuovo sito web).
-nella bacheca di WordPress ho modificato il campo “Indirizzo sito (URL)” cancellando il nome della sottocartella
-Copiato e Incollato il file index.php della sottocartella nella cartella principale del dominio
– modificato il file index.php cambiando la stringa di codice relativa al percorso del file wp-blog-header.php (/wordpress/wp-blog-header.php’ );)Dopo queste operazioni però il sito non funzionava, perciò ho cancellato tutto e ricaricato il backup precedentemente fatto, sia del sito che del database.
Ora però sia quando provo ad accedere al Backoffice, sia quando provo a vedere il sito mi da questo errore:

questo è il mio primo post e dunque desidero ringraziare anticipatamente tutti.Ho uno strano problema con la mia installazione di WordPress: dalla pagina di login sembra andare tutto bene, gli utenti vengono correttamente autenticati (admin compreso) ma poi… invece di proseguire come al solito, si viene reindirizzati nuovamente al login.
