 Ciao,
 sto riscontrando un problema con WooCommerce riguardo l’invio delle email e la configurazione del campo “Email mittente”. Ecco una descrizione dettagliata del problema e le azioni già intraprese:
 
 Problema:
 1. Le email generate da WooCommerce, come quelle per “Nuovo account cliente”, non vengono inviate. Tuttavia:
 
 Le email di test inviate tramite WP Mail SMTP funzionano correttamente.
 
 Altre email del sito (es. recupero password di WordPress) vengono inviate correttamente.
 2. Il campo “Email mittente” nelle impostazioni delle email di WooCommerce rimane sempre vuoto, anche dopo aver inserito un indirizzo valido e salvato. Ad ogni aggiornamento, il valore sparisce.
 Azioni già intraprese:
 1. Reinstallazione di WooCommerce:
 Ho disattivato ed eliminato il plugin, poi l’ho reinstallato. Il problema persiste.
 2. Disattivazione di tutti i plugin:
 Ho disattivato tutti i plugin tranne WooCommerce e WP Mail SMTP per escludere conflitti, ma non è cambiato nulla.
 3. Cambio temporaneo di tema:
 Ho testato con un tema predefinito di WordPress (Twenty Twenty-Two), ma il problema si presenta ugualmente.
 4. Configurazione di WP Mail SMTP:
 
 Le email di test funzionano perfettamente.
 
 Ho verificato che il server SMTP sia configurato correttamente e funzioni.
 5. Log di WooCommerce:
 Non ci sono errori evidenti nei log delle email o negli strumenti diagnostici forniti da WooCommerce.
 Ulteriori Informazioni:
 - Il sito usa la versione più recente di WordPress e WooCommerce.
 - Ho provato anche a disabilitare temporaneamente la cache, senza risultati.
 Vi chiedo gentilmente di aiutarmi a identificare la causa di questo problema. Può essere legato a:
 - Una configurazione anomala nel database?
 - Un bug del plugin?
 - Un problema di compatibilità non rilevato?
 Allego il report dello stato del sistema per aiutarvi nella diagnosi.

Il link non si apre perchè ho cambiato l’indirizzo del log in comunque puoi considerare : /wp-admin/post-new.php , la pagina per editare un nuovo post. Il mio custom field è così:

 Non riesco a fare un backup con Duplicator. Il processo arriva al 59.7% e poi si interrompe fornendomi i seguenti errori. Il plugin mi informa che il mio sito occupa 5GB mentre il DB 12MB.

Ok ecco il riscontro.

Se hai un backup ripristina e hai risolto.

Probabilmente non ce l’hai altrimenti non avresti scritto il post.
In questo caso si può provare con phpmyadmin.

Se phpmyadmin non permette di aggiungere righe e quelli di nuova installazione possono anche non permetterlo, si prova modificando 2 righe della tabella

wp_usermeta

.

Precisamente:

wp_capabilities a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}

wp_user_level 10

Ho provato questa seconda strada e funziona.
Naturalmente l’operazione è a rischio e forse anche incompleta quindi appena ripreso l’accesso del pannello è meglio impostare dalla dashboard di wp un nuovo amministratore.

Se phpmyadmin non è disponibile di può caricare, via FTP, uno script molto simile, “adminer” , https://www.adminer.org/

Prima di modificare direttamente il database è meglio fare un backup perché anche se la situazione è compromessa si può sempre peggiorarla.

 Quando il cliente cerca di finalizzare il pagamento attraverso carta di credito, quindi dopo aver inserito tutti i dati gi appare questo messaggio che gli impedisce di proseguire con l’acquisto bloccando l’operazione.

 Hello,
 I’m trying to figure out with the Home and the customer pages only of Woocommerce when clicked are loading and then blank content.
 
 I’ve my website fully updated, and as recommended I started disabling all plugins, switching back to the Twenty-twenty themes but nothing change. Even after relading the page without cache ( CTRL + SHIFT + R ).
 
 I had a look with F12 and I see the following problems:
 
 1) First error, related to the file path just below.

@webepc l’upload del tema è avvenuto con successo (puoi vedere se la versione è aggiornata?)
Ho rinominato plugins anche ma lo steso quando metto miosito/wp-admin mi riporta in wp-login.php

Senza vedere posso solo presupporre di si.. e se cancellava o modificava il database addio sito !

Grazie Gianluca, purtroppo questa frase nel supporto mi ha illuso: “The “Site Address (URL)” setting is the address you want people to type in their browser to reach your WordPress blog” .
Non mi resta che provare a contattare OVH e sperare nella loro clemenza per aver fatto questo errore.

Mentre per quanto riguarda l’intervento sul database che suggerivi, come potrei fare? E’ molto complesso?
Perchè attualmente riesco ad accedere dopo aver forzato la modifica tramite il file wp-config.php, ma non credo sia la soluzione migliore. Intanto grazie mille per la risposta, mi hai chiarito un punto fondamentale.

grazie per la tua risposta. A Vancouver abita mia figlia ed è veramente un bellissimo posto, ma direi che tutto il Canada sia così, merita di sicuro lunghe visite.

Sottodominio
Non sapendo bene la differenza tra una cosa e l’altra e avendo solo capito che per averlo online senza che fosse “pubblica” bastava metterlo in una cartella, questo feci.
In effetti sul sul Cpanel di Serverplan c’era una voce apposita per il sottodominio, ma il problema mia resta sempre lo stesso: non ho abbastanza conoscenze per fare le scelte giuste e anche cercando online non puoi imparare se non esiste un contraddittorio.
Interpreti ma se lo fai sbagliando nessuno ti corregge 🙁
Comunque ora farò un secondo tentativo usando la procedura del sotto dominio.

Ora sto tentando una via differente, l’ennesima.
Ho scoperto un plugin DeMomentSomTres Export che mi ha permesso di importare qui in locale (Xampp) le immagini esattamente come sul vecchio sito online, cioè mi ha ricostruito la gerarchia delle cartelle con gli anni e i mesi (almeno quelli che volevo importare dal 2010 ad oggi).
Successivamente ho provato ad importare gli articoli del blog (il pacchetto più piccolo) tentando di eliminare il contemporaneo import delle immagini sperando così di ricreare il link tra la pagina e le immagini: sono riuscita al 50% nel senso che nonostante tutto si sono importate comunque molte immagini e sono divenute doppie ma avendo cmq le immagini corrette al posto corretto si è trattato solo di rimettere le cose a posto ed eliminare poi i doppioni.
Ovviamente io non so cosa accada al database quando faccio queste operazioni, correggendo e sistemando: rovino tutto? Lo ingrosso a dismisura? Cosa potrei fare poi per ripulirlo da tutti i tentativi (ammesso che queste azioni vengano rilevate dal database)?
Ora debbo provare per la prima delle due parti impegnative che sono 20 blocchi di database xml da 500 poesie l’una ma visto quello accaduto agli articoli debbo scoprire come fare per non importare assolutamente nulla delle immagini. Esiste l’opzione da spuntare ma pare non funzioni 🙁
Ovviamente debbono rimanere le date originali ecc. Con l’importer di WP non credo sia fattibile (almeno con i post non sono riuscita), con WP All Import lo ho fatto e con le immagini comprese fa un lavoro perfetto, ma non riesco ad escluderle.
Potrebbe forse essere dovuto al fatto che nell’originale le immagini erano contenute all’interno del post (poesia) e quindi il link alle immagini originali viene comunque inserito come text

Ora riprovo per l’ennesima volta cercando di arrivare all’import ideale per potere creare il template ed usarlo anche per gli altri.
E spero che i link si sistemino sulle immagini presenti: sarebbe un sogno!!

Il plugin FG PrestaShop to WooCommerce funziona bene ma opera accedendo direttamente al database di PrestaShop e non tramite file CSV. Se hai modo di ottenere l’accesso al DB di PrestaShop (o un dump SQL), probabilmente è la strada migliore.
In alternativa puoi valutare WP All Import ma l’addon per WooCommerce è a pagamento, e comunque richiede un po’ di setup per funzionare, in quanto è un plugin di importazione general-purpose (molto potente ma da personalizzare caso per caso).
